Les Ressources Tectonic Inc. was founded in 2002 by Jean Laforest, geological engineer.

Jean is a geologist with over 20 years of practical, hands-on experience in mineral exploration; especially in project generation, prospecting and reconnaissance work. Jean has worked for major and junior mining companies exploring for various commodities and deposit types in more than a dozen countries.

In 2008, Jean-Denis Fournier joined the company as a technical advisor. Jean-Denis holds a degree in geology.  He has been active in the natural resources field for over 25 years including 16 years with Falconbridge/Xstrata where he developed a strong expertise in deal making. He is also president of Triops Enterprises, a firm focused on providing continuous improvement consulting and training to the natural resources industry.
