The Lac à la Vase Property consists of 24 claims covering a total area of
1406 hectares on NTS sheet 31I16. The Property is located 80km West of Quebec City and 11km North of the town of  Montauban. The property is easily accessible via a good network of gravel roads.

The Property is located within the Grenville geological Province, in a supracrustal band belonging to the Montauban Group. This Group also hosts the Montauban Mine, a historical producer (VMS). The Property covers a 3.5km X 1.5km mafic-ultramafic intrusion with an irregular core composed of lherzolites, websterites and plagioclase clino-pyroxenites and an outer ring of gabbro and gabbro-norite. The ultramafic core of the intrusion shows local fine grained disseminations of pyrrhotite, pentlandite and chalcopyrite.

No work has been reported for this property. However, a sample taken in 2004 by a MRN geologist for a metallogenic study reported grades of 0.83%Ni, 0.29%Cu and 145ppb PGE from a plagioclase orthopyroxenite with only 1.80%S.

The results of the study outline an excellent potential for previously unexplored nickel-copper and PGE prospects.

A great exploration campaign starts with a great property!
