The Caumont Property consists of 56 claims and covers a total area of 29.5km². The Property is located 275km north of Chibougamau on NTS sheets 32N08 and 32N09. The Property lies within 8km from the all weather ''Route du nord'' road.

The Lac Caumont Property is underlain by a belt of archean rocks locally cut by small ultramafic intrusions. The Property is located 50km SW of the Levack Lake advanced prospect hosting 43-101 measured and indicated resources of 2.038Mt with grades of 1.06%Ni, 0.55%Cu, 0.07%Co, 1.03g/t Pd and 0.23g/t Pt (May 7th 2008, Golden Goose Resources press release).

The Lac Caumont Property is located in a similar geological environment and hosts 3 nickel-copper-PGE showings. None of these were followed-up. These showings are located in small ultramafic intrusions located at or near the contact of an extensive iron formation. This type of environment is well documented in several world class nickel camps in the world.
