The Troilus K Property consists of 11 mining claims, covering 595 ha. It is located in the Frotet Evans greenstone belt, 120 km North of Chibougamau.

The Troilus K Property is located on strike with the Troilus Mine, presently operated by Inmet. The Troilus Mine operation produced 1.4 Moz from 1997 to 2005 and, as of the end of 2005, hosts indicated mineral resources of another 1.40 Moz. The Troilus K Property boundary is located within 3 km of the J-4 zone open pit.

Despite the fact that it is located within 3 km and on strike with a mining operation, only a mag-VLF survey and some geological mapping have been carried out on the Property, by Inmet, in 1989.The Property has never been drilled.  

A metric, angular boulder with grades of up to 38 g/t gold was located during the course of mapping in 1989. Glacial transport direction, aspect, composition and location of the boulder are all pointing to a source within the Troilus K Property
